I designed this email, “Mauritius Underwater,” with key email design principles in mind:

  1. Visual and Information Architecture: The layout is clean and organized, with a clear hierarchy—headline, image, supporting text, and call-to-action (CTA). The primary message is immediately visible above the fold.
  2. Simplicity and Usability: The design focuses on one clear objective—inviting users to explore underwater Mauritius—with a prominent, clickable CTA (“Dive In Now”).
  3. User-Centricity: The content is tailored to evoke adventure and curiosity, appealing to scuba divers, snorkelers, and underwater photography enthusiasts.
  4. Typography: Legible fonts with a balanced contrast ensure readability. The headline stands out with larger, bold text to grab attention.
  5. Accessibility: Alt text can be added for the image, colours ensure sufficient contrast, and the email is optimized for screen readers.
  6. Consistency: Brand identity is maintained through consistent fonts, color palettes, and logo placement.
